【Contest overview】

• The Nihonbashi 100 Appearances Photo Contest will be held for the purpose of raising awareness and improving the image of Nihonbashi. Entrants of this contest are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions stated in this application guideline at the time of entry. Applicants shall not raise any objections or complaints in accordance with the organizer's management method of this contest.

【Entry conditions】

• The work must be original, unpublished, and for which the applicant owns all copyrights, taken by the applicant himself/herself.
• Works that fall under any of the following cannot be submitted (including similar works).
  • Entries that are in the process of being submitted to other contests, are scheduled to be submitted, or have won prizes in the past.
  • Pictures taken in places where entry or photography is prohibited, or pictures that violate laws, etc.
  • Images that have been processed, such as by deleting, adding, or synthesizing part of the image, using image processing software, etc.
  • Anything that is considered offensive to public order and morals.
  • Content that is judged to infringe property or privacy, or contains slander.
  • Items that are intended for profit or display items related to politics, religion, etc.
• If the organizer determines that the submitted work violates the application guidelines, laws, etc., the organizer may cancel the prize, etc. of this contest without giving any notice. If a prize is canceled, the organizer may request the winner to return the award certificate, prize money, prize, etc.
• If the submitted work contains a copyrighted work other than Nihonbashi scenery, or if it contains a portrait of another person, the right holder of the copyrighted work or the portrait himself (if under 20 years old) Please be sure to obtain prior consent from the person with parental authority.
• If an act that infringes another's copyright or portrait right is done, the applicant shall deal with all troubles related to it. The organizer will not take any responsibility.

【Copyright of entries】

• The copyright of the submitted work belongs to the photographer.
• The organizer will use the submitted works for event exhibitions such as photo exhibitions, websites and SNS, as well as advertising materials such as pamphlets and leaflets produced, publications such as calendars and collections of works, and goods produced by the organizer free of charge. It shall be free to use. In addition, in order to improve the visibility and image of Nihonbashi, with the permission of the organizer, groups and companies other than the organizer may also use it.
• The organizer may alter the entry (including cutting out part of the entry, changing the color, etc.) for posting on the website or SNS, or for producing promotional materials, publications, etc. In this case, the entrant shall not claim any rights based on the author's moral rights against the organizer or any organization or company that has obtained permission from the organizer.
• The copyright of the produced advertising materials, publications, goods, etc. belongs to the organizer. Entrants shall be deemed to have given prior consent to the use of secondary works by the organizer or by groups, companies, etc. designated by the organizer.

【Handling of personal information】

• The organizer will use the personal information provided by applicants when applying for this contest to the extent necessary for the operation of this contest. We will not use it beyond the purpose of use or provide it to a third party without the consent of the applicant.
• The organizer may disclose the applicant's name and place of residence (city/town/village name) on websites managed or used by the organizer, photo exhibitions, printed materials, advertising materials, etc.

【Other notes】

• The organizer will not be held responsible for any damages arising from entries in this contest.
• We take great care in handling submitted works, but please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur.
• We will not be able to respond to inquiries or requests regarding the screening results.
